Chris Rigg

Goal was sublime, but still has a lot to learn. Might as well give him the rest of the season to start and get some valuable minutes/experience.

Not really sure having him and Enzo out wide is doing us any favours, although we're trying our best. It just takes any pace away from us and means we've got to be a little bit more patient on the ball.

Once Enzo was put back into midfield and Wilson and Talbi came on, we had pace to break, and looked a lot more threatening.

Big question from is is how we accommodate the likes of Enzo and Rigg while also needing some pace out wide to counter?
I think the answer for the next game, even though I like him, is to rest Diarra and start Talbi on the left, moving Enzo centrally.

He looks stronger and shows great football IQ. I can definitely see him becoming a CM in the future. He reminds me of Sadiki because he’s happy to drift wide and cover the wings when needed. That’s massive for our future.
Excellent goal as well. When you’re 1–0 down, having the mentality to score like that at just 18 says everything about him. That’s exactly why the club rates him so highly as a top prospect.

You can see his face disappointed when bieng taken off. he will learn from it because this level is so high.

I do think we're missing some pace out wide mind and Enzo's ability to thread a ball when he's centrally is something we really need to take advantage of.

It's a difficult decision for Regis, but we are lacking some pace and directness. When he changed it yesterday, those attributes came to the forefront and nearly won us the game.

Think next season he will be our wonderkid. Gonna be massive. All he needed was time. Bet those who wanted him sold because he wasn't PL level feel a bit silly now.

In Le Bris we trust.

I see him being more like le Fee as he develops, he's got a much better eye for a pass/shot than Sadiki

What a sensible post marra -Reggie has been patient and he’s now reaping the rewards with the likes of Riggy
He’s a calm manager and at 18 that must be great for a player
with the manager we have, it help young players to be honest. No stresses about, no pressures, etc you know what i mean? You dont need any stresses for 18 years old.
Of course he’s a mag maybe not a big one now because of how much time he has spent here. He grew up as a Newcastle fan and that’s fine. He gives Sunderland 100% and has done for years.
no, he never support newcastle. he is a sunderland fan through and through. His dad is a newcastle fan.
thats one of the reason why rigg signed for sunderland as a kid. His dream come true.
