Chris Rigg

Nixon should be f***ing ashamed of himself for publishing that like.

10m? To Birmingham?
He's at it again with Patterson, apparently we value him at 20m but might take less, yeah might take less. Why would we take less than what we value a player at who has just signed a contract? Nixon is an absolute div

They may well be able to but I think if he’s gonna play championship he’ll stay with us

He must know he’s going to have a phenomenal career and a big move is on the horizon so why go sideways/backwards?

I agree totally. I was just playing along with the hypothetical "£50m transfer fee" statement.

I think if they had that much money to throw around, there'd be plenty of "too good for League 1" players whose heads they could turn for a season if they were essentially buying promotion back to the Championship and planning to continue spending their way to the Premier League.

Typical of that little saddo masquerading as a journalist. Can’t do the “Rigg to Real” etc line because that looks good for us, so instead it’s a club in a lower league going to pinch our best prospect. Vaguely believable because people have seen them spend money.

Is he a mag? Or just a parasite who knows our name means clicks?

That’s basically what Wrexham have done isn’t it and they’ve worked their way up. Although they’ve done it with older players looking for a last pay day mostly

I think without mega money, like MEGA money, there’s a ceiling to that model and it’s likely to be championship

He's an absolute helmet, someone posted all of the little articles he's done about rigg over the past 2 years.

The standards of journalism these days, whether it be news, sports or politics, is shocking. It's just all clickbait designed to get advertising revenue. You have to scroll past several adverts even to find out which L1 club it is. You never get a summary in the first paragraph any more.

Does is his dad actually work for Birmingham?

Edit, noticed that a Mike Rigg is head of the academy there but seems to have a NW accent.

Alan Nixon  Birmingham  £10m

Rigg will be here then to a European giant within three years.
Why on earth are media outlets repeating this utter chod idea that he could go to Birmingham?
It creates traffic for their website or impressions for their social media.

Did I sleep in? Is it April 1st Already?

I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see a Premier League club come in with a ridiculous offer for him at some point. But why on earth would we accept £10 million for him and why on earth would a young lad who is clearly loving playing for us in The Championship want to leave for a League One club miles away?
