Chris Rigg

You keep saying this but there's probably one poster who's said that. Can't see it being anymore than that.

One numpty getting carried away isn't representative of the rest.

Mate on this thread he’s been compared to Messi, Bellingham, Rooney to name 3, not just by one person either.

All the top clubs in the world are saying he's the next Jude Bellingham, it's not just on the SMB and it's certainly not a rumour. I'd imagine Jobe would like to be compared to his brother rather than his younger team mate in footballing ability sense, but that's a very good driver for him to improve and will have a positive effect upon him.

Are they though or is it just sensationalist headlines?

How do you know that?

A quick google…

There’s 5 stories about 5 difference players targeted by the big boys with the same headlines. Are any of those comparable with Jude Bellingham?

Exact same sensationalism “next Jude Bellingham”

Think he might be sold in the summer but loaned back for 12 months. I think that would work all round.
I genuinely can’t remember the last time that happend in this country. Rather just keep him on our books for another season and potentially get more money at the end of it rather then developing him for another clubs gain.

Clarke at Leeds maybe?

Fair enough. These days it tends to be foreign players and often due to work permits and visas and time to move to a new country at a young age.

Not so long ago i can think of Walker, Smalling, Dele Alli as English players who went on to be top end premier league players and play for England.

Think 30 million and he be gone?

Completely depends when he goes, and where we are.

If sold in Jan, it’ll be 20-30m I would imagine. Club may accept 25.

If sold next year and he continues his form all season and we don’t go up if say 30-40m, club will likely accept 35m.

If we go up and he’s one of, or our player of the season, then 40-50 should be being discussed, I think it’s likely the club would take out north of 40m.

Talk of anything north of those figures is way to premature, he needs a season at the top level before your getting into the top top figures.
