I cannot see the point of selling anyone in January the club do not view as surplus to requirements. Whatever bids are offered for our top players in January are likely to be equalled or improved in the summer imo.
 

In this world of football there is one thing for certain and that is every player has a price. If a club come in with a ridiculous offer in Janúary for Rigg then I think he will be away. I hope that doesn’t happen of course as he looks to be a vital part of the team right now. Money talks.

If a team wants to make a ridiculous bid in January, they will also offer it in the summer. No need to sell in January.

Have I been critical of Rigg? Browne played poor the other night but has done ok, Neil I criticised for a stupid mistake which he hasn't learnt from but has been good since and is a good footballer, I think that’s fair enough.

He’s not going anywhere, his progress is as expected by him and his family, as well as a lot of top clubs which is why they wanted to sign him in the summer.

It would have been an easy deal to do n the summer if Rigg wanted to go but he didn’t, there is probably a 0.1% chance he goes in Jan.

All of that aside we really need Samed to get in shape sharpish so the lad can have a rest, I’d be tempted to pull him out of England under 19s coming up.

I could write a better article than Nixon by just pulling a top tier European club out of a hat.
