Watching them highlights back it's easy to forget some of the touches and control he has already shown. Training an playing with Le Fee and the new lads and another year older and still growing. Make no mistake this lad will captain Sunderland in a couple of years if we stay up . Mark my words this lad is going to the vey top

Got a feeling he’s going to be even better this season, had a full championship campaign plus a rest and reset. Tends to happen to our young lads, go through a burn out in their first season then go up a few levels.

Aye he sort of fell away 2nd half of the season. Nothing bad but just seemed to lose his mojo a little bit which is exactly what happens to all young uns (Jobe included the season before) Watching them highlights shows his talent and I hope they don't try to coach the off the cuff stuff out of him in the same way Grealish got moulded into a position by PEP. I think our philosophy is to let young lads good for it with no fear which is the way it should be. The pre season rest will have done him the world of good as well

Good little vid. Looks like the new lads have settled in nicely as well judging off the couple videos I’ve watched from Portugal. Having a laugh and not looking awkward.
