Chris Rigg

It sounds disrespectful because hes clearly talented footballer but i actually think his biggest attribute is his pressing and how aggressive he is with it. Proper ankle biting, Must be a nightmare to play against

Rigg has loads of quality.

I do think that we shouldn't expect him to be playing 90 minutes every single week though. It might be hard to make those decisions, as maybe it was with Bellingham last season, but you can't be flogging teenagers either.
This is his 1st team transition year, lots of sub appearances last season, now he's ready for 75mins as a starter. A year behind Bellingham in terms of development if you like. I'm afraid Browne will have to settle as our back-up midfielder, because these 2 and DN are brilliant together.

He and Neil are excellent footballers who both understand space and movement. Played number of short, disguised passes on half turn today that got us through the press. Bellingham moved it quicker and think more defensive role suits him. He has strength and athleticism to excel there.

Rigg also makes space for Roberts with his movement and awareness. Good balance all round.

He replaced Brown who was injured apparently. But I think that spot belongs to Riggsy now.
