he cant though that's the problem and there shudnt even be a discussion in relation to him broad and jimmy

He isn't fit and got whacked all over last week and yesterday

What we need right now is control and appropriate bowling with the new ball. India and Sri Lanka hardly have express paced, swing masters in their side but have comprehensively out bowled us this summer. Something has to change - Boycott made the point about Broad and Anderson setting their own fields and making changes without consulting the captain. Totally undermining Cook and doing the usual bowler thing of overreacting to boundary. That says as much about how weak Cook is as it does about Broad and Anderson of course, but we appear rudderless at the moment
