Chill out...perspective required...!

They have obviously seen 6 players linked with big moves -non of them want away -so after that their value has plummeted ànd they are all staying for next years big push

Why of course?

Are folk not allowed to be emotional after a game?

Does it not mean a bit less if you're forever even on keel?

Emotional game la. Worst ever home defeat in out life time?

No. Nowhere near in fact. Mags 4-1 was 100x worse than that. Many other examples where defeats were resigning us to relegation etc.

It's a terrible performance, I'm not going to deny that. But do we forget about the whole season and focus on one bad game? Definitely not...

It highlights some issues. Ones which you hope we will address going into next season.

People are more than entitled to be upset with the performance. It was awful!

Statistically it was, I think.

No ones going on like they were when we got beat 4-1 on our way down. Just folks blowing off steam as its raw. Sure that perspective will be about on Sunday.

All a cunning plan from RLB and the club, duff the last 5 (seen that somewhere before) people think the players are shit, no major sales this year, bit of tinkering over the summer and we start like a train again 😉

You can both be extremely happy with how the season has gone and equally annoyed at our team defending like a non league outfit at home against a team in a relegation scrap.

I’m disappointed but wouldn’t say I’m angry. We got beat. It happens. Hopefully learn from it, move on.

We have had an amazing season, we were well beaten, but we’ve been there before, and I’m sure we’ll see it again!

I sat last night, seeing their fourth goal go in and Déjà vu moment of the 0-4 first half at home against Aston VIlla, (March 2015) seeing around 20,000 fans leaving at half time.

Supporting Sunderland is never dull, but probably need a health warning attached

Absolutely, however some lose their minds over it and want heads on spikes on the city walls.

It's the boing I don't like after the season we have had. It happens, it's football. We have been brilliant at home this season for the most part. The players shouldn't be booed for one terrible half of football.

I thought they were there for the taking. When we attacked we had a lot of space in certain areas. Then we decided to concede 5 goals.

Was clear they’d been told to go for it in this one as the rest of their season is about Europe. Not sure it was quite their cup final like when they’re still in with the chance of actually winning something.

We were piss poor and they didn’t have to do a lot to score on at least 3 of the goals.

Tonight was their cup final so to speak. Win to secure staying up. They pressed us high and were brilliant in the first half.

Regis should have changed it sooner and stopped playing it out from the back to negate their high press imo, but we live and learn.

It's always best to be a realist. Tonight was a reality check for the people who think our players are worth £70m a piece etc. We have achieved what we set out to do this season. But some of our players still have a lot to learn.

We should just be glad that we can come out of there tonight and lose 5-0 and not be worried about going down. Their tactics were spot on and Regis was too slow to go to plan B. Nevermind onto next week.

Keep the faith...
9 goals conceded in 2 games and 6 defeats in our last 10 but aye everything is fine and dandy.

Spot on. We were again done by a team that needed it more. I had to check the table afterwards, they were absolutely over the moon because they just hit 39 points which practically seen them safe. Embarrassing as it was we are still on target. We shouldn't have started so well and built us up too good. Last week brobbey is going to Bayern, sadiki to man u and roefs to Chelsea. This week they wouldn't get a game for Accrington

It's not fine and dandy. But would you have taken 11th place after 34 games at the start of the season?

It's about perspective...that was the whole point of my post. Booing the players is stupidity after the season they have put in.
