Transfermarkt has him at €8m and has been about 25% under what we’ve paid for Diarra and Sadiki. Based on that I’d hope the deal was nearer €10m than €20m.

One reason might be that Tony Bloom is the owner of Union St Gilloise as well as Brighton? I reckon the Tommy Watson deal was big factor in us signing Noah. I don't think he owns this club as well, but SAFC in the Premier league, with a French manager, is the natural step up from the Belgian league. It can't be understated how much our reputation has increased, we are a very attractive option, and our model is a financial cheat code.

No chance were paying 20m for him, he’s had one season and it’s been more off the bench than starting
