I didn’t hear the national anthem. I don’t like Chelsea after my numerous conflicts with their fans in the 70s and 80’s and them being the original club to try and buy success with dirty money.

Then why say “take him for what he is…what’s not to like” or you expect people would take him to get liverpool’s success. They might well. So what, that’s not the point. People (clearly) don’t like him. It’s not to do with his ability, people didn’t like him when he first joined Liverpool and they don’t now.
