Iirc he took Southampton from strugglers to the top half of the table. He promoted Harry Kane and others into the first team at spurs over more experienced players and it workedHe’s a good coach but I think he inherited two good squads. He also totally blew the title in 2016 imo.
Tbf they’d be safe now if it wasn’t for the -8pts and be above Palace and BrentfordEverton are woeful.
They’re going to be saved again though by the weakest 3 promoted teams in living memory.
Did Jackson try to take it?Cracking penalty in the Valencia game

Their 11 players on the pitch were utter gash.Everton are woeful.

Could end up in 6th with two cup finals , not the worst seasonThey have with everyone tbf.
I like Poch, he did a good job at Southampton when everybody wondered why the other fella was sacked and had Spurs playing some great stuff. Chelsea atm isn’t an easy club to manage and if he gets the chance he’ll have a clear out.
Not saying he doesn’t deserve credit but he inherited the best two squads they’ve both hadIirc he took Southampton from strugglers to the top half of the table. He promoted Harry Kane and others into the first team at spurs over more experienced players and it worked
Just seen it 97th minute too! SickenerCracking penalty in the Valencia game
He was on loan most of the time when Sherwood was there I think. He might have played him a few games at the end of his time there but it was Poch who really gave him his chance. It was Sherwood who brought Kane into Spurs team
The point I’m making is they weren’t viewed as great squads when he arrived, he put a lot of work into developing the players. Not saying he doesn’t deserve credit but he inherited the best two squads they’ve both had

Trying to be far too clever. Stick yer foot through it man!Just seen it 97th minute too! Sickener
I’m not disputing he handed him his debut but Sherwood played him at the end of the season just before he was sacked. Sherwood had been there a number of months. It was Poch who made him first choice striker when he arrived and Kane developed from there
