Beggars belief that a club that is so professional in many aspects has an amateurish ticket system. I am no IT expert but the failings in this system do not seem partuclarly difficult to solve. Why can tickets not be taken off sale as soon as they go into somebody's basket instead of informing you after selecting that the tickets are no longer available? Why have rules that say one has to allocate tickets to somebody in your network that has ticket purchase history and then not allow one to do that?

Think this is a great shout for us idiots who bought within that first 50 minutes - clearly we should have realised that for this game only a new tricky rule was in situ preventing folk sitting together. I mean its obvs really

The issues got rectified at around 10:45. Suddenly it started working and it allowed me to check out the 5 tickets on the accounts that prior it was telling me they weren't eligible for (even though they've been to multiple previously)

Seems like this is an issue for premium tickets as well. Trying to buy a pair of 76 yards tickets and it won't let me have two. My mam's coming over from Texas, she doesn't have a purchase history.

Mind bogglingly incompetent from the ticket office, but the fact the tickets will all eventually go means it’ll probably get swept under the carpet. The club must do better.

You'd have thought so, as it's unlikely that all those tickets will sell especially while payment barriers are in place indefinitely. I've sent a message through the portal to ask if there's any likelihood of relaxing the rules, if I get no joy I'll ring them tomorrow.
