@stewartdonald3:No under competition rules they are entitled 10 percent of our capacity so just short of 5000 tickets potentially.

Think he'll give them this many ?
If they've asked for the full allocation he has to. Will they sell them all?

Tbf Port Vale fans probably thought the same ....

Probably, but I've no idea how many police were assigned to that one. I have heard that the fans were near each other, and that Stoke had unreserved seating which sounds a bit daft for that kind of game. Hopefully our police learn lessons from that game and we set it out sensibly. Our fans in South, East and (if demand needs it), West stands. Stick them in the upper bit.

We know they can easily get them into the ground incident free, then it'll just be a case of whether a few dickheads decide to trash a toilet or pull out seats. If they do the seats we should have good CCTV, have some police near the toilets (and if there aren't any they'll no doubt be daft and incriminate themselves with phone footage). Shouldn't be a problem. If there is any damage we send the bill to the mags anyway. Doubt there'd be any violence, we'd be that far apart and they always have their hands held when they come here, and if there's not much risk of violence I don't think we need to ban them

This.....

let's get of our backsides(those who can get to the game) and support the club and more importantly support and show our pride in the City of Sunderland and don't give the fuckers any chance to take the piss and show us up.

When we leave the City's pubs and cross the bridge, that buzz will be there and the thought of them beating us and rubbing our noses in it for God knows how long should ensure a cracking atmosphere.

I for one will be singing my heart out for the Lads.

Be proud and be proud to be SAFC.

There’s an argument they will take the piss more if so many of our fans are so hell bent on taking a game against their reserves so seriously.

I’ll not be going. Not been to any of the checkatrade games. It’s an absolutely hideous competition.

Competition rules state the away club can take up to 10% of capacity. We’d be given 5,200 and I think we’d sell them no bother.

Hypothetical but I don’t think we would take 1/10th of that if roles were reversed. Minging game in what has become a joke of a competition.

No idea how when the ground is half closed for the season they still get 5k mind. Out of interest, if we had shut 3 stands all season would they still get 5k and us just have to make do with whatever was left spare?

The pricing for me is totally academic. I take exception to the fact that they will have fans present. I honestly expected SAFC to raise doubts with the police, police to agree, and away fans to then be banned as otherwise public safety could be put at risk. Look at the calibre of people who turned out at Vale Park in the Stoke end, toilet cubicles smashed, windows put out, flares hoyed onto the pitch, children terrified ..... these kind of games have a history of trouble.
You should sleep with the light on
