Think it can be reduced on police advice.@stewartdonald3:No under competition rules they are entitled 10 percent of our capacity so just short of 5000 tickets potentially.
Think he'll give them this many ?

Garna buy a stoney and chin a load of the fuckers. Haway the LADS
I know mate, they have me in stitches at the away games.Town on that day will be hideous. Loads of LADs clad in designer gear bouncing around waiting for it to go 'off'
Then the middle aged men doing similar trying to recreate their youth.
Don’t go then mate. It’s not rocket science. The owner has explained the rise is to cover the costs of the police and that’s understandable.
A lot of would not have bothered anyway, they just love a moan.No one is being forced to go, most of those moaning wouldn't if it was any other team.
In my opinion he has. That’s not a criticism of the bloke I just think he’s made a misjudgement on this occasion.
Tweet from Mr Donald.
@stewartdonald3: I appreciate it has gone up but Newcastle have asked 4 a lot of tickets & the Police bill, stewarding & general cost of the game etc is so much more due to that than the other games. We have tried to keep it sensible & we r certainly not likely to make much money based on costs.
Could everyone stop pissing their pants about the prospect of trouble and get off their arses and support OUR team and city. It's the attitude prevailing on in this thread that is half the reason the fuckers have the attitude they have towards us that is because half our fans can't be arsed.
A relegation battle in the championship? Can't wait.Didnt take long for the abuse to start mind. 1 defeat and a ticket price rise.
Whats going to happen when we do a proper Sunlun![]()

Each to their own and that but that sentimental bollocks doesnt get me going for a game against their u21sThis...let's get of
our backsides and support the club and more importantly support and show our pride in the City of Sunderland and don't give the fuckers any chance to take the piss and show us up.
When we leave the City's pubs and cross the bridge, that buzz will be there and the thought of them beating us and rubbing our noses in it for God knows how long should ensure a cracking atmosphere.
I for one will be singing my heart out for the Lads.
Be proud and be proud to be SAFC.
Cant believe people moaning over 15 quid. 5 pints of f***ing beer. Get a grip lads.£15 is nowt man ffs it will be worth it to see us beat the kernts again
The pricing for me is totally academic. I take exception to the fact that they will have fans present. I honestly expected SAFC to raise doubts with the police, police to agree, and away fans to then be banned as otherwise public safety could be put at risk. Look at the calibre of people who turned out at Vale Park in the Stoke end, toilet cubicles smashed, windows put out, flares hoyed onto the pitch, children terrified ..... these kind of games have a history of trouble. He literally hasn’t. Have you even read the explanation? Of course you haven’t.
Newcastle have demanded a full allocation of away tickets. Given the policing costs associated with it what did you expect them to do? Force the club to make a loss just so you can pay £3? Get real.
Yes we would most certainly be taking thousands to the landfill. Probably 5,200 to be precise.I think we should have banned away fans yes. It’s not even their first team. If the roles were reversed do you genuinely think we would be allowed to take thousands to the landfill ?
