There's the Chuckling Cheese Company store, in the Hill Street shopping centre, in Boro (near the bus station) they sell artisan cheese, pickles, chutney & jams, though I don't know if it's local to you, @forzamilansafc.

I've been to Morpeth a lot recently (for dental treatment) and there's a wonderful cheese shop there (just called The Cheese Shop). Highly recommended.

Great name (Dad was Stan, the son of Stan. I'm the sos's daughter). He hated Stanley mind.
I shall hopefully be back to the cheese shop on Friday, so I hope it's open.

Sounds about right. It's on Oldgate. The guy recommended some pecorino instead of parmesan, which is gorgeous.

If you’re using it with pasta, Asiago is well worth a try.
