Think a lot of names will be linked through media hyping up the transfer window as it comes to an end and others smokescreens for the real targets we are pursuing.

He's a perfectly normal lad.

Haven't we all tricked a hotel receptionist into giving us our mates room key, then let ourselves into that room, then took it upon ourselves to shag the lass he took back whilst our brother and a mate watched from the window, then sneak out of the fire escape when finished.

I mean, honestly, what down-to-earth, good honest lad hasn't done something like that.
Great post.

It’s not the most comfortable of signings but can’t help wondering if he scored, in the moment, how many would cheer the goal and forget the history.

I have no problem with anyone who's falsely accused and found innocent tbh.

I just hope this doesn't become 'di Canio' part two ...

.... whereby nothing is mentioned at one club then he becomes a 'monster' as soon as he steps through the doors of the SOL.

You get the feeling it will Riv mate, I know I do ?

If he does sign I admit in advance I would get behind him Janey, I'd just rather the club not open itself up to the possible / probable grief.
Agree I don’t particularly want the shit storm either but when that settles down, which it inevitably will if he scores goals to help us get promoted the majority of fans will cheer those goals

I wonder on that one given the clubs recent history.

Thing is, when he played here for Fleetwood nobody even mentioned his name at the ground. There was no grief given to him whatsoever.

Yet now he might be about to sign for us and all of a sudden people are saying there’d be trouble.
He had a good game then

Please fuckin no. I don't want this piece of shit near our club. His behaviour was fuckin horrible whatever the verdict of that particular charge was.

For what it's worth, he wasn't found innocent, he was found not guilty. Not the same thing. He's a complete shithouse of a person even if you ignore this incident, along with a League 1 plodder.

Avoid please Sunderland.
