Checkatrade trophy 3rd round draw

Also to add, if Portsmouth can defeat the Arsenal U21 side (widely regarded as one of the best youth setups in the country) then we should be able to overturn the Mags U21 side.

Make it so we need a customer number and ban away fans.

We know what will happen so no point even letting a few in.

Don't mind letting away fans in, the police will just need to police it properly. Wouldn't like to go down the route of not having away fans just because there will be a few 15 year old bellends, surely a police force should be able to cope with them. Just stick them in whichever part of the ground needs the most work, then we can bill the mags for the repairs!

Just seen the draw. It just had to be didn't it. Impossible match for us coz if we win they'll say it's against their kids and doesn't matter but if they win they'll be giving it the biggun saying even their kids are better than our first team .

Is it fixed?
The northern section you couldn’t pick 4 groups of closer teams.
In the previous round Port Vale s Stoke.
Definitely one way to stir up the interest.

We’ll beat them. I’ve no doubt about that. We defeated Notts County with ease and the Mags U21’s needed pelanties to beat the bottom team in the football league.

I am curious as to whether we could afford the policing. Checkatrade trophy tickets are cheap, attendances are below par (although this fixture inevitably stands out) and the cost of what would be a big away delegation and the above average costs of policing for Tyne-Wear Derbies would be too much for us.

Mate, you make a really good point but it will be missed by many on here. The reality is; a derby is hugely expensive to police and I doubt you will see the usual protocols being put into place for this one.

I’d honestly be shocked if the police didn’t ban away fans or make Newcastle put on buses to get away fans to the ground
