Can you remember Lee Ryders reports in the Chronicle after you beat us in the last meaningless derby - think it might have been the u18s?
Whatever you decide to put out, could even be a bunch of 12 year olds, will still be classed as your first team because that's how official fixtures work. Sorry like

The fact is you won't be playing our first team. Sorry like.

I do like how desperate you lot are mind. It shows how much hurt the six in a row caused.
Completely unrelated point. Poor argument.

show me where i said we'd win? you can't.

the bairns will and should be battered man, this is a first team fixture for you against our younguns ffs, that in itself from our end is hilarious :lol:

Now your gravy has spilleth over. You would be crowing from the roof tops if you won this nothing game. Fuck off and have an ignore skunk boy

if i were a bookie i'm guessing the odds would be
them 1/4
draw 9/2
us 11/1

theres a big gulf in truth, Sunderland even before the last round were favourites to win this tin pot competition, they are now in truth playing the weakest "side" in it.

stop trying to dampen the expectation man ,you don't fool any fucker
It's a f***ing horrible competition mind.
Letting the Premier u21's in totally devalued it. Not sure you're aware (as I wasn't till we got relegated this season) that fans boycott this competition generally. Swindon v Oxford - Derby game, got around 2500 fans
Saying that, I'd still go to Wembley like.

It’s bizarre how you can see this is as big as a game as you suggest. It’s tragic that as a Sunderland fan you think we’re so far apart that this is now your derby.
A proper derby would see you hurling abuse at your Joey Barton’s, your Alan Shearers etc. Your seriously telling me your going to get so worked up over a game against a bunch of kids. Come off it.

If this is the biggest game of your season and you think it’ll pull the biggest crowd then good luck to you but we’ll agree to disagree on this one.
Im in agreement with most you mags on here.
It's an awful game, it will be a lowish crowd, no atmosphere.
However I still think you'll bring 3k any chance to rub it in. And it doesn't really matter if you lose 5-0.
And there is no way that this counts as a derby game.

The amount of mags who are posting here, that don’t care about this competition is laughable.

This

Tbf they'll have it all lined up.

You got beat off our kids/you only beat our kids.

Well aye, you're first team couldn't do it so you are hoping the bairns can make a better fist of it.

Mag fans still insisting it isn’t a big game to them yet they keep posting on a Sunderland message board on a nigh on 50 page thread about it :lol:

And they'll all be heading through to show how much they don't care.

If anyone kicks off at this match they ate utterly sad bastards.

Edit - if anyone kicks off at any football match.

Your lot were ripping seats out at a reserves game sir.

Irony at it's best.

I think ypu need to look close to home when making such statements. There are numerous incidents where your supporters have made themselves look rather "sad".

Historically, they are the ones that generally "kick-off". They do however regularly re-write history, until it becomes gospel in their own minds.

We’ll take less than 1000 on a crowd of no more than 25k.
There’s no way any self respecting SAFC fan can see a reserve game ( for us ) as a big game. You surely havnt got that low where you now see our under 23s as your rivals ??
Mate, fans used to go regularly to Newcastle Town for a pre-season friendly just to see us beat the name 5-0. It's got novelty value if nowt else.

Bet its not still £3 a ticket

Hope it isnt. Stuart Donald said money from cup runs will be important to it so I hope we put the cost right up and make a few quid. Also if I see anyone saying they would like to 'have a loom at (insert fringe youth team players name here), I wont be happy. Lets be perfectly clear here, people saying this is a no win for us. We 100% must make sure it us not them in the last 8 and that means a very strong side, which would be far too strong for them. Its one of the seasons targets for us anyway so bloody well go for it.

Because if we win there isn’t anything to be proud about.

Yeah just imagine how embarrassing it will be when 50,000 of us are enjoying Covent Garden II and dancing in the fountains in Trafalgar Square on a Saturday night in the spring. It will be terrible. We can then all go to Wembley the next day and see one of our academy products lift a trophy above his head, I mean just imagine how embarrassed we would all be? Its just so cringe worthy.

I can't think of anything worse myself. Better to just try and get back to being a PL also ran scrapping around for survival, at least that way the mags won't laugh at us so much eh?
