Checkatrade cup final tickets

Why do people always jump in with the "we're not there yet" crack? I'm sure the lad is well aware that we aren't there yet. Discussing it on here isn't going to be a "jinx", it will have no effect on anything. If he wants to start planning for it and working out how much it would cost him if we get there than why not, that's what a message board is for. If we lose next week he'll just think "ah, fuck it then" and move on. If you had to wait until things were certain before discussing them then there would be a hell of a lot less threads on here, and almost none in the politics forum (which would probably be a good thing mind)

This. I got a room at the Travel Lodge at Wembley for £33 the day before we played the mags u21's. It gives me a free option to cancel before midday of the game.

It's been the kick off time that's fucked the planning times up.

I think the logical way would be each season ticket gets one; then see how many are left. Then season ticket holders above a certain loyalty threshold can buy a second one.

What about the people who dont have a season ticket but have been to the previous checkatrade games?

Been told club wont be selling final tickets if we reach it .
Selling through ticketmaster.
How does that work then.
Wouldn't be surprised with that, Oxford do it when they get to wembley or had a big cup match like against city this year due to their ticket office not having enough staff. We don't have anywhere near as many people working at the ticket office as we did last time we got to Wembley and Donald has already said our websales software needs a major update, its crashed for away matches in the past so I doubt it would handle the demand of a wembley final.

I guess the club will have to look at the numbers and work out what's fair. Lots of people will also buy tickets and have no record, i.e paid on the gate or whatever.

I've got a season ticket, and have also purchased two tickets for each of the home checkatrade games for me and the wife. Naturally she wants to go to the final. My purchase history is proof of that so maybe the club will look at this scenario

This. I get to a lot of games each year but the tickets are always through a mate or branch.

Despite travelling around for decades I’ve no loyalty points. Never a problem until Wembley beckons

Tickets sold through the two finalists only.

Suppose it depends how many ST holders take a ticket. Theres a few on here reckon that not all ST holders will go, and if reports are true that we would get 38000 there might be 20k tickets to shift. I reckon an open general sale would be the most efficient way. Man the ticket office, man the phones, make sure the website is working and just open the flood gates.

General sale for me I'm afraid
Hope if we get there I can get a couple of tickets, it's the eldest's 17th that day. Might as well make a man of him and throw him into the Flying Scotsman

Should we get there, which is by no means a certainly, I hope the club give us some choice in the the seating blocks we'd prefer, last time I had top price tickets and ended up near the front when I'd much rather have been seated in a higher block for the same price (I know right, first World problems!)
