Checkatrade cup final tickets

Aren’t we all football fans for that day out at Wembley though?

As a kid I didn’t dream of playing Blackburn or Leeds on a Tuesday night in Novermber while trying to consolidate our position in the championship. I certainly dreamed about the lads lifting a cup at Wembley!

I totally get the sentiment but the dream was always about a cup that mattered. This one is a joke sadly.

Exactly. I'll go and have a good weekend. But comparing this to an fa cup or league win is crackers.

If we win then great, if we lose then so what. Any goal scored will not get celebrated anything like even a playoff final goal v Charlton.

Luckily there all treated as a joke nowadays, so any cup final has an element of excitement

I think playing Pompey after they stuffed us in the top of the league clash will bring a bit more bite to the game

37,500 tickets each club is that right?
Phase 3?

FA Cup and League Cups aren't jokes. Even Guardiola was massively pumped up last Sunday for it.

Genuinely hope I can get a couple of tickets, don't have a season ticket thought so could potentially be squeaky bum time like.

In my head I've been thinking how all the season ticket holders will get one, and if there's any justice in this world they'll sort a system where they'll see how many tickets non ST holders have bought and I should be a shoe in tbh

< agree , nobody who isn’t in the final gives a shit about it , no prestige at all , flipside its a weekend away in the smoke and a trip to Wembley still

I am intrigued how they play this like, how do they sell the remaining 12/15k tickets? If people can prove they were at earlier games or people with points from last 3 years?

How much will these cost?

Looking at driving down from Seaham, will most likely cost 70 quid in petrol or alternatively I can get the train for 100 return which seems a much better bet.

Are the tickets likely to be going spare for this? Paid 250 altogether for the league Cup final ticket few years ago so hopefully will be a lot less than that.
Have I missed the semi final? Glad we won like!

I never said they were, I said there treated as a joke, ie championship teams changing 10 players for fa cup games tells you all you need to know

Not come the final though. This clearly is though in the eyes of big clubs.

Totally why people fancy it but I'll be using my £ on Fleetwood and Rochdale either side of it. Will save a Wembley win for when it really means something.

I'd imagine if you want a ticket you'll get one. I can't imagine it'll be as popular as the league Cup final.

I've heard from quite a few who don't go to games that they plan on going. I think lots will think they can get a ticket and it won't work that way.
