Don't really mind what he looks/sounds like, he won't be giving loads of interviews

Just want a team I can be proud of and enjoy watching - it's been a while since I can say that

The fact that he's an old Etonian speaks volumes .....& from the Witney crop (no pun intended). I knew I'd heard his name somewhere before; wasn't he in the same year as our former PM & Gideon?
He may be a posh twat but he’s our posh twat.

Probably been mentioned but Charlie was in Fitzies for a few hours after the Wolves game, didn’t give too much away as you’d expect at the time but had time for everyone, offered to get the rounds in and spoke very well about the club. Bit of a PR exercise to an extent but was impressed with him nonetheless. Said he was gobsmacked at the size of the club in terms of the facilities etc. but said the books were a mess... still owe money for players that have long been and gone. Doubt these fellas will be splashing money about but I reckon we’ll be very financially savvy going forward.
Owe money too players I’d imagine. Owing money for players who are long gone isn’t allowed.

I know .... but I mean to say .....Purple Trousers ... whatever was the fellow thinking of?
Social shorthand marra. See em all ower the posh parts of London. They signify that the wearer belongs round here whereas the denim clad hordes are merely passing through to fix their houses up or bathe their bairns or drive em somewhere or serve their food and drink. Riffraff basically.

Any excuse:

You may well be right but I think the lure of selling in the premier may be more of a pull for these two. There's also the possibility that if they are getting things right, this club could easily get under their skin...they are football fans after all and if they manage to get this sleeping giant up and running, then it'll be a hell of a buzz and one that I doubt they'd repeat.

Fookin bang on Buster
