Totally unnecessary remark and typical of the pomposity of some of our fans.
 
Give him a chance,but remember what he's working with. Short has sucked the life out of the club with years of appalling decision making,and any manager coming in has to contend with that.
Good luck to Grayson though,at this juncture we could have done worse.
 
I felt the same when Peter Reid was appointed hopefully turns out the same. He's our manager so best of luck to him.
 
Obviously, good luck to Grayson, and there will be some good days and bad days in the Championship, no doubt.

I get the same sense as the OP though....the over arching direction feels like it's towards wretched mediocrity.
