Big week without playing this week lads (and lasses). Could do with away wins arl owa! Can't see it like. My optimistic predictions are as follows.......

Wednesday

Lancashire v Worcestershire - Severely rain affected draw.
Somerset v Nottinghamshire - 500+ each on first innings, draw.
Yorkshire v Sussex - Not arsed.

Thursday

Warwickshire v Hampshire - Hampshire revival continues!!

Aye.

Trust the weather to pick up when we're not playing.

Either way, draws all round...

I knar .

Draws would be canny. Mind having said that, we're quite capable of winning our last 3 and I beleive that if we do that we'll be champions.

Somerset 20-2 - Trescothick fails :-o

Edit - Lancashire 11-1 too, good first half-hour for Durham! Michael Gough is umpiring there too so could help us out ;-)

Meanwhile they're off for rain at Taunton.

:-DWell, Worcestershire are f***ing shit. That is true.

Lancashire 282
Worcestershire 17/4 (9.5 ov) :-o

The good news is, only 8 overs were possible on Day 1 at Taunton :-D

If we don't win the Championship I would rather see Lancashire win it to be fair.

Edit: 21-5

Lancashire looking good for victory with Worse 44-1 chasing 329. No chance. Still a day and a half to survive so a draw is out of the equation.

Warwickshire are going to have 100+ lead on 1st innings on Day 2 there.

On the bright side, Somerset 177 all out. Day 3 there.

If Worcester don't lose a wicket in the first hour they have a chance. Still a couple of batsmen to come in Andrew and Scott (wk), nightwatchman is in now and he is key IMO, if he hangs around and frustrates Lancs it could be massive.

Yeah, shame they lost five

This is about as good as we could hope though....Warks gonna lose to the mighty Hampshire, Somerset very few points

1 win out of 3

True, I guess both Somerset and Warks will feel like they lost. 6 and 5 points respectively. Lancs 13 points ahead - this weeks game at Notts is now massive for us!
