All involved making tidy livings regardless of outcomes.Worse thing is, looks like no one even gives a shit.
ThisMcCullum has come out today and said the main problem he's identified is that the team are too hard on themselves. Worrying statement and he is promoting a culture of non-accountability.
I know she's not everyone's cup of tea, but Alex Hartley had it spot on when she called out the arrogance of the current England set up, both men and women's sides.
According to Stokes, we are in the entertainment business not the results business. Everyone is entertained by a losing team..This
Their are players in the setup who will never be dropped regardless of form Crawley, Livingstone Salt etc
Definitely a face fits culture over winning
Strauss regime was about winning and hitting top spot, Key Mcullum and co now are trying to play results down and bluff their way like they the moral victors
This whole ‘Bazball’ line is embarrassing England are ridiculed for it and rightly so
Aussies will hammer it next winter let’s see if ‘Baz’ can smile his way out of it
Context mate, this was a test team that had won 1 game in 17 and played boring dull cricket just to lose with a collapse every game.According to Stokes, we are in the entertainment business not the results business. Everyone is entertained by a losing team..
I don’t know if it’s an English mentality thing but is there any other nation that plumbs the depths as much as we do in multiple sports? It’s especially galling given our financial resources. Is there any cricket team on the planet at the moment that doesn’t hammer England.
I’m not so sure multiple sports mind.I don’t know if it’s an English mentality thing but is there any other nation that plumbs the depths as much as we do in multiple sports? It’s especially galling given our financial resources.
It’s been mostly utterly depressing following the England cricket and rugby sides for about half a decade now bar the odd result here or though. I suppose the Test team were exciting for about a year but that started to wear off for me during the last Ashes series when we decided to chuck the first two Tests away for absolutely no reason.
Aye but how class did Livingstone look yesterday running past one while trying to belt it out of the groundLook at how India have rebuilt after their start. England would be all out by now.
