Champions Trophy 2025

This batting approach is just a shambles, you would expect better game awareness from a bloke in the thirds nevermind international level.

“Bazball” is starting to fuck our players.
Is it because they are getting mixed messages or just told to play one way ? Who knows !

There seems to be no willingness to play the situation - they just play the way they are instructed - and cricket isn’t like that

Although there are different formats these days, the basic techniques have been developed over 200 years and there is a reason for that. You can’t just throw away all this history, though Bazball and The Hundred are trying to

Harry Brook has played 11 matches this year in the T20s and ODIs for an average of 17.5. Lad has been abysmal.

Hopefully that’s the last we ever see of Livingstone anarl.

the replacement white ball captain shouldn’t be Brook. Obviously mega talented, but he comes across as if he doesn’t give a shit at all.

Whilst he almost certainly does, that’s not the body language of a leader.

The cupboard is bare

Agree, and you could also say there's no obvious replacement for a number of key positions such as opener, number 3, all rounder, spinner, lower order batsman.

There just seems to be a massive gap in quality within English white ball cricket, hence why the likes of Overton is getting a gig.
