Should be interesting next year with Somerset. Young Archie looks a real talent who will only get better, and they have a lot of batting quality that goes all the way down the order

The rate that he's progressing he'll be on an ECB central contract before long.
Buying in talent,which Durham are doing at present,will not provide long term progression although it does at Surrey who will continue to be wealthy and also have the ready made feed from Independent schools.

We will lose Dan Worrall next year to England as well. Although Surrey have a battery of quicks Worrall is the unplayable one at times.
Certainly was yesterday. He and Atkinson would be by far the best option for England's opening attack backed up with cameos from Wood or Archer. Neither Stone nor Carse should be anywhere near an England team.

Had to requalify a bit like Jennings and Carse both had to for Durham.
