CC : Worcestershire v Durham

Ben Raine & Joe Leach, separated at birth?

If they were, Raine must’ve been the runt of the litter compared to JL :o
All out 184, Durham lead of 60 which, on this pitch is not to be sniffed at.

Aye, the standard 10th wicket frustration aside, it was a great morning session for our lads. Think we’d all have taken a lead of 60 at the start of the day.

Very very soft dismissal. Already gifted them two wickets in this innings. 97 lead.
Would like to see a L/H, R/H opening combination again.

This. That’s one of the problems with dropping Jones and elevating Borthwick. I think the RH/LH works better and brings about easier runs with bowlers struggling to adapt to the changes mid over when singles are taken.

30 overs to go Durham just keep batting positive but not wreckless. Worcester starting to look a bit ragged. We probably should have enough by close of play.

Unlikely we’ll have 350 or more and given how placid the pitch has been this afternoon it would be unwise to declare short of a 400 lead in my opinion.
