Desperately sad about this. My absolute favourite ground, but I can fully understand why it is unsustainable. As for government funding, I can’t see a cricket ground getting priority over residential properties.

Afaia Durham were told Carse and Potts were available for 5 of the 1st 7 games and weren't directly specified which ones.Maybe it's Durham's decision to rest him. Carse's bowling is a liability on early season slow pitches.Honestly think both Bas and Coggers are better in these conditions.

And controversially, they were both omitted from the first game. Baffling selection from Campbell at the time, but worked out OK as they can both play 5 of the next 6.
