CC : Gloucestershire v Durham

Potential but didn't didn't stand out but they will be getting chances soon enough anyway

Yeah but players need cricket to improve, Potts assent has surprised loads. Its not a big deal, the other signings been great, I just think he is a bit of a journeymen this bloke, but maybe he will surprise me in the white ball stuff.

White ball cricket is a good place to speed up young lads under pressure though.

He hasn't had many teams as long as they contribute it's fine, many people were saying jobs for the boys when Campbell got announced just have to wait and see

Gibson/Macalindon/Killeen will be eyeing up Potts going away with England.
And so they should. I was p,eased that Marcus north on commentary yesterday spoke about chances for the likes of McAlinden and also said he is very competitive.
On another note I dont know whether having him accompany the team rather than playing for cls is good or bad but, your 12th man should be capable of stepping in if there's a last minute injury. I assume it's not his drinks carrying skills that got him in the squad. No doubt his time will come and Durham are one of the best in developing fast bowling talent.

Finish then off sharpish tomorrow bat for 45/50 overs pile on the runs.

Hope Potts and Raine get a couple with them new ball then over to Patel and hopefully win number 4.

Think he looks promising cricketer, not sure Glover is much better than our young bowlers, we have some potential gems IMO.
Bas de Leede looks a great signing so far. Need to remember he's only 23 and will improve.

That said, I would put him, Coughlin and Trevaskis in the same all-rounder hat for selection given a fully fit squad.
