Aye there would be an armed insurrection among the Members who probably yearn for the days of the Ropery Lane Tea Hut of the late 70s when it was 4p for a huge slice of homemade apple pie and the same for their corned beef pie and savoury mince squares.😢🍰
 
apologies if this has been mentioned elsewhere, or if it's in the wrong place, but Nick Friend from the Cricketer is reporting that we've signed Ashton Turner to replace Stubbs in the T20

Turner looked good last year in the couple of matches he played before getting injured, I thought, so if true, it's a signing I'd be happy with

If true happy with that under the circumstances. Came back and played in the blast when he was half fit. I know a lot of locum overseas would have picked up their money and been on a plane back home.

Yeah decent

shame about Stubbs but kind of pleased he is playing for South Africa A at least and not more franchise stuff
 
As Sussex and Leicestershire both very well placed for victory.

Were going to need to win this to keep the gap. Sussex equalled us on batting points.
