Even if Pottsy was available, I'd expect the other two to be auto picks for the Blast team. If, as expected, the other Dutchie opens the bowling it looks like we'll need one or two of the kids to be a fixture in the white ball teams.

Glover, Raine, DeLeede, Stan/Mitchel, then the spinners.

Trevaskis has to be a starter in the t20 for me

You on about the Blast bowling corps there?

I’m not as arsed about that if I’m honest, but I think Glover and Killeen will be straight in the lineup, Raine likely too and then we have potentially the best spinning attack in the country presently - could see Turner, Patel, Sowter and Trev all in at once - so the makeup of the side and the preparation of home pitches could be interesting to see.

Yeah, plus Glamorgan at home in 3 weeks. You still need some seam up, at least two plus DeLeede in white ball and another one for the CC. Been down this road too many times with Coggers.

I’d still want four seamers in the side for any red ball tie, but I feel like we could get away with only having 3 quicks for a T20 game. If we keep picking up injuries to seamers it’s obviously a concern for all formats and our hand may be forced but until then I still think our depth is alright. On top of that, I do believe that our quartet of twirlers is as good as any other county can boast. So if you’re getting good overs from them, there’s a potential of only having to find 4-8 overs from your quicks.

We have just signed him knowing we haven't got four day cricket in while now don't think he will be on the sidelines

His record with the bat in this format isn't good but I guess so be interested to see if we ever go with 3 and what we do with Patel, I'm guessing borthwick won't play

im surprised but his record is pretty decent at T20. 7.56 an over, a wicket every 19 ballls

still think Trevaskis will play though
