CC :: Glamorgan v Durham

At least Carlson has got rid of his 1980s mullet for this season.:lol:

Good luck to the lads tomorrow and hopefully lets get off to a winning start (weather permitting).

Forecast has changed, may rain a bit this afternoon, dry the rest of the game according to BBC. It did piss hard last night alot like.

Fingers crossed there'll be next to no play lost
What are the chances of any cricket being played today?

Doesn't look a bad day tbh, still looking out the hotel window though. Il give another update over breakfast 😁

I see they've gone for the angle which shows the blue bit
It's pretty windy messaging the weather is changing fast. Decent patches of blue, alot of cloud and sine darkish grey but nowt im too worried about. Any rain shouldn't last long based in how it seems now.

Assuming the drainage survived yesterday and as a test venue I'd expect it to

While everyday is great for cricket today in particular

windy but warm, good bit of sunshine. Two groups of schoolkids visiting, both parked as far away from the action as they could be. Sounds like they're enjoying themselves. Bless them! FTECB will soon put a stop to that.

Leather willow cut grass linseed oil etc

Ill miss the bad school disco music, bouncy castles and fireworks. That's what REAL cricket is about
Maybe arrange to get a couple of blokes dressed as dragons to randomly lob cheap T shirts in the direction of groups of kids who are only there for that reason and couldn't give a toss about what's happening on the field of play....now that's what REAL cricket is about.:D

They're starting a few rousing chants of.. We'll, I don't have a clue but I like to think it's something vaguely cheeky
Somerset and Durham legend Ian Blackwell standing today as well, itchy finger this morning mate?
I'll try pointing at him and seeing if he points back.

If it was seb larsson it'd work

Lovely shot down towards the schoolkids boundary, no doubt a fearsome torrent of abuse for the man fielding the ball. Break for kleenex may be necessary.
