CC : Durham v Yorkshire

Well done to Durham who looked dead and buried when that 8th wicket fell last evening and a special mention to Ben Raine who is something of an unsung hero.

I hardly dared move sitting in the Don Robson except for Carsey's winning runs and my heart goes out to Yorkshire for coming so close to winning.🤣🤣

Still a long way to go but by God isn't great watching this never say die attitude from the lads this season.

Shout out to the lucky mascot who made his debut for the last home fixture of last season and who now has made it four straight home wins in a row as well.

Do you want me to do the Gloucs thread @brandon ?

Cant believe you let the loudmouth yorkies chase you out of the county Durham.

First they took the trapdoor....

We’ll take them down Scarbados 👊

Can’t change a winning side marra 🤷‍♂️

That table looks wrong to me, Yorkshire have played 5 but only have 2 draws and 2 defeats (adds up to 4🤔)

+1 No Result.
Next round is the last round for a while ain’t it? Before the Blast?

It is.

Campbell made a point of mentioning how important this opening portion of the season was, no doubt emphasised that message to the players and regardless of what happens next week we’ll go into the T20 section of the season in fine fettle.

I only went in the Don Robson for easy access to make a sharp exit if they had wrapped it up in 5 mins.:D

Rest assured the handful of Durham supporters in the Co Durham Lower, armed with their attack dogs, 'reclaimed their turf' this morning.

Of course they are, but it only takes one game to change momentum and as I mentioned, we’re likely to lose our two England bowlers very soon (and one of their replacements, Coughlin, is also now facing time in the treatment room) - we always knew that the big test for this side was going to be how we cope with the inevitable injuries and call-ups throughout the season.

There’s still a long way to go.
This is where we could really regret losing Rushy.

Anar i was sit with them.

The fat mag from yesterday was wearing superchargers shirt 🤮

Better than having his fat belly out i suppose.

Absolutely delighted with that win. As I keep saying, it's noticeable the change in team morale and togetherness. Credit to Potts and Raine last night as I'm not sure Carse would have been brought out yesterday, so to take it to today was a massive boost for Durham. It really is a top win this against a good side on paper. We just have to keep going, stick together & get behind the lads. It really is enjoyable to watch, a massive difference to last year. We'll endure some sticky times but as long as we keep seeing intent, I think we'll be able to cope with that. I'm enjoying what I'm seeing at the moment.

Bloody hell. Potts getting out with 2 to go and Carse having to come out with a runner and win it with a thick edge to third man. Great performance from our tail from a match that looked lost at 5pm yesterday.
So Ben Raine and Matty Potts both qualify as a 5 o'clock hero 😉🤔
