Lunch is being taken at 13:10 today, 104 overs to be played if they’re needed - they won’t be - making up for the lost play from yesterday.

Would love another wicket before the interval.

I’m genuinely astounded at how one-sided they’ve been. Two of those no balls before lunch were regulation bouncers, the six lbw decisions that we’ve been on the wrong end of. I’m loath to use the ‘C’ word, but normally rank incompetence goes both ways and this two simply haven’t once given something that has favoured us.

And now, with the light totally fine and no rain falling - the resumption has been delayed.

Spot on, its evened up the teams, .... even if we do manage to win this, we had little or no chance of five batting points from the off, against a struggling Worcester side ..... we didnt need this. Coupled with knocking the floodlights off mid over resulting in a crucial wicket we seem to have got a few things wrong here .... hoping it doesnt matter.

I’m sure you’ll agree they don’t need to be, the umpires have now said play will resume at 14:00 - assume that’s the time it’ll take to let the floodlights warm up.

No reason why we couldn’t have resumed on time, the umpires simply showed no intent or interest to get a move on. Maybe they’ve heard what the cakes at Tea will be and want to drag it out 🤷‍♂️

Players were ready as well on the balcony. They then ring the bell 5 minutes early

I noticed no applause for the umpires either on their way off for lunch or on their return for this session.

The locals know :lol:
