CC :: Durham v Worcestershire

I’ve just had a look as well. 25/1 to be promoted . About right but if we did win out, the momentum will be ours

I should think that if you take 25/1 and they do make the playoffs, you’ll be able to lock in a better profit than 6/1 would’ve brought anyway.
Just played a poor shot in on his last hole

Awful approach shot after the excellent tee shot.

I’m thinking that. I’m only with corals and they didn’t have a price earlier. I’ll have another look though

Defintely. He said it himself in flight. Way short, quite like spieth and his running commentary . He went off it on day one when he hit a perfect drive, only to land in a divot, middle of the fairway

25/1 marra.
Excellent. I may invest any return from Spieth

Not anymore :(
Fitzpatrick has suddenly played two brilliant shots the sod . Oh but he pushes that birdie attempt. Still tied

spieth was an inch away from a birdie as well
@brandon brave par that by spieth on 18

play off upcoming
.

@brandon how did Spieth‘s putt not drop?

fitzpatrick has a tester
.

it goes on. Bloody hell but good sportsmanship by spieth hushing the “USA, USA, USA “ chants when Fitz missed
.

fitzpatrick about a foot from holding his second on a par 4

spieth has lipped two out

bugger

had time to reflect on the 4 days and we've done bloody well to win this game. have to be honest day 3 was tedious, it was hard work to watch it and that aspect still concerns me as I'm unsure whether other teams will entertain declarations like worcester did on saturday, time will tell I guess.

credit to borthwick and bedingham, our highest 3rd wicket partnership vs worcester. ben raine also yesterday took 3 very good catches.

thought our declaration was brave as was the one by worcester, but credit to the mindset of the management and team to want to risk it and make a game of it and from a spectator point of view that was entertaining as a carrot was dangled for both sides as opposed to how it was last year.

see how it goes for the rest of the season, I am still open minded about it but delighted with the win it doesn't happen very often.

as for what i have seen in this game, the team togetherness looks absolutely rock solid compared to last season. delighted to see borthwick get his first century in 2 years, much needed. bedingham returning to form is welcomed and i thought coughlin bowled well and accurate which again is welcomed. Graham Clark has taken his opportunity well also. It looks like a happy dressing room so far.

It's always nice to win and I hope the lads can take that confidence into next week which will be a tough game.

A very interesting game of county cricket.

Indeed: props to SB. As previously mentioned, his wicket in the first innings was very disappointing but he played brilliantly in the second innings and drove the pace of that innings to allow time for a declaration and shot at a win. Although he has a reputation as a grinder from his first stint at the club, he looks better these days when playing positively. Also, interesting how he looks a better captain without Franklin (both in this trophy and 2021 RLC).
