CC :: Durham v Worcestershire

No doubt he will proceed to take a five fer after i say this but Ben Raine is not a new ball bowler IMO. Much better with the old ball.

Missed last match with a finger injury.
Yea, I was looking at that too. Makes you wonder about Durham's so-called deep depth of bowling.

He wouldnt be the new ball bowler if carse was playing..but obviously he needed resting after 1 first class game in 8 months or so

This is T20 powerplay stuff.

Raine, Coughlin, Carse and Bushnell are 'all rounder' third/fourth seamers. Potts is the only new ball bowler we have and looks out of form. Salisbury was never going to pull up any trees but could move the new ball away from batsmen and was handy at this level. The decision to let him go looks poor in light of the Rushworth departure. MacAlindon would be a better pick than Bushnell, is he injured?

Carse is no good as a new ball bowler either as he lacks consistency. You bring him on to mess up a set partnership, by SB's own admission
