CC : Durham v Lancashire

Keets is an excellent cricketer and,I always found, a pleasant a courteous individual. He remained at Durham for a season after the sanctions then made a decision to move on to further his career. Nothing wrong with what imo. I'd love to have him back at Durham.
I hope this vitriol towards him is tongue in cheek.

Yeah, me too, we’ve won and secured our future, Lancashire are in the shit and could get relegated. The fact Jennings and Benkenstein are playing prominent roles in that gives me no pleasure at all. Especially when one of them is likely to lose his job off the back of it.

Leave the gloating lads, it’s classless.

It’s a bit over the top I agree

3 of our 4 wins this season have been innings’ wins. If we can finish in the top 4 or 5, I’d say that it has been a successful season.
It's been a successful season for me even if we don't finish there. Our wins have all been great and the draws we've battled hard.

Our 3 defeats
Lancs A bad toss call and probably should have chased 475 to win, just a bit of an appalling collapse.
Worcs H a lottery of a pitch and daft that we prepared it. No fault of the players
Som A terrible umpiring in first innings cost us any real chance of getting anything from it

So in 2/3 I'd say you couldn't really blame the players and the other, we nearly pulled off one of the highest FC chase wins.

I believe that we’ve got one of the strongest squads in the division. If we can put it together and get a bit of luck next year, then we could challenge for a title
