CC : Durham v Lancashire

was a few rumblings end of last year, and had his nose put out again at the start of the blast by being left out the team

That was mental, I called it last year and got grief for it. Campbell leaving him out for Wayne Parnell.

He’s our best player in all formats. Why you’d even think about not playing him, I’m not sure.
His dad told me a couple of months ago that Jamie is working in horticulture several days a week and absolutely loves it.

Absolutely brilliant!

Would love to see Durhams record partnership go today. Stuart Hutton who I thought was unlucky at Durham and Mike Roseberry ... who definately was'nt ... put on 334 v Oxford Uni in 1996. This has stood for 28 years but never really felt it should be our best given the opposition. In those days it was first class and therefore counted. Bedders could also have a crack at our individual highest score too .

Didn't even realise Cricinfo had collated all our stats.

In the best batsman states he's our list of highest run scorers in FC.

Bedders the highest average aside from Shiv and Hussey. Only Colly, Benks and Diva with more centuries.

Link to all the stats sure this will interest a few on here.

Class find that, bookmarked!

Warwickshire in real bother at Worcestershire, now 120-7 and still trailing by 187. We’ve spent the last few weeks hoping the Pears slip up, but actually the best result for us there is simply a win for either side. A draw would probably keep them both in the division, but one of them losing would mean we move above them.
Edit: 120-8 now.

Worcestershire’s recent run of form has been absolutely remarkable, still annoyed that we kickstarted it though.

Brilliant thanks

Colly a rare player who has a higher test average than county

Good to see Borthwick that high, it’s not a bad average that considering some of the pitches he played when younger

Needs keeping around for me

What’s crack with Gay being a MLF?

Bumble apparently asked him which football team he was going to adopt upon moving to the NE and he said he was a Sunderland fan. Bumble got the impression he was an MLF prior to the move.

Cricinfo haven't counted that as FC.

Got Benks and Stokes 331 against Lancs as the record.

But fingers crossed they can smash both.
