CC : Durham v Lancashire

£7.50 for a bacon sandwich and coffee is ‘not bad value’

I’ve got some magic beans for sale if you’re interested marra ;)

Excellent swinging and seaming conditions this though. Be a brave/stupid captain to win the toss and bat.
God help you if you ever attend the Oval

Availed myself of a bacon sandwich and a coffee in the Sticky Wicket , couldn't get in the members lounge for bloody Lancashire members, not bad value at £7.50, or am I still stuck on Surrey prices from the other night, might have got a dash of milk for that down there.
I am sure Durham members would be welcomed with open arms in the pavilion at old Trafford

Is there a September lunch rule?

You must be logged on to see media items

In a manner of speaking. Play starts 30 minutes earlier in September so ‘early Lunch’ can be taken 30 minutes earlier than its usual (April-August) early time of 12:30.

Normal Lunch time is 13:00-13:40 in April-August and 12:30-13:10 in September.

Only £4.50 for that in the members lounge (if you’d been able to get in). The sausage sandwiches are excellent 😁

They weren’t at Blackpool for the CC game down there. Maybe due to limited space but I think they should make more effort to reciprocate. There was no issue getting into the pavilion at Scarborough last year v Yorks, and that’s hardly capacious.

Every effort should be made everywhere, surely it’s good for business 🤷‍♂️

Huge toss to win.

Yep, feels that way and we absolutely had to bowl first.

The other thing aside from the conditions is, even if it’s as flat as a pancake, with the rain forecast across the four days the window for taking 20 wickets if you’re bowling second seems very small.
