CC : Durham v Hampshire

Cheap labour. UK a handful of groundsman in Sri Lanka they've got absolutely loads to help move covers on/off.

I reckon that's the main reason. Surely could build some retractable version, a bit like how a swimming pool is covered over winter.
Surely you could get a 'cricket version' of this........

Dont know what has happened to the predicted sunny morning, 19°C temperature and 50mph drying winds that was forecast for this morning...perhaps its been delayed in traffic?

Ahh well 8 points and not a single delivery is going to be the outcome of this game.

Rain forecast tonight and tomorrow morning and rain all day Monday too.

Start the Warks (A) thread someone

Looks like the club have disabled the replies on that post so they don't fancy any criticism.

Getting underway at Old Trafford so will be the only ground in Div 1 not to get the game on so far
Are they? No sign of that on the BBC (no sign of the toss or teams) which wouldn't surprise me. Rained heavily overnight in Manchester and the water table is high here too. All of the parks have ponds where they don't usually have them.

Starting at 10 past apparently.

Perhaps those on this thread who appear to be unhappy about the condition of the ground would confirm that they have the cojones to tell Vic Demain this to his face 😂
