CC : Durham v Derbyshire

Unsure if @brandon is on a sabbatical as its unlike him to be so late starting a new thread so may as well begin it.

No team news yet from either camp although the match will be played on Pitch 7 which means it's slowly edging towards the middle of the square.

It's top vs bottom albeit with Derbyshire having played a game less and hopefully Kuhnemann has recovered from the stiff back that saw him missing the final day of the Glamorgan when the lads came so close to pulling off an unlikely victory and who knows? - we may even have Potts and Carse in the starting XI.

As for the weather well if you're an optimist then head for the Met Office forecast and if you're a pessimist then check out the BBC for what looks like rain from Friday to Sunday.

Been a busy week marra, hope you bring us luck 👍

Derbyshire Squad:

1. Billy Godleman
12. Haider Ali
4. Harry Came
10. Luis Reece
29. Brooke Guest (wk)
77. Wayne Madsen
76. Leus du Plooy (c)
7. Matt Lamb
15. Alex Thomson
32. Zak Chappell
51. Mark Watt
59. Sam Conners
11. Ben Aitchison

Possibly Trevaskis and the two young seamers to miss out unless they are confident 3 seamers is enough st the Riverside. Or Trevaskis bats at 6 ahead of Clark although i think they may back Clark for a while longer.
Pity about Kuhnemann.

That looks a fairly ordinary squad a bit like Sussex and Worcestershire.

not as many as a good seamer, but hes young and spinners take longer to mature and he's useful batter too. A good player to have around.
His record with the ball is terrible batting decent, if he wasn't local he'd be getting a lot more Criticism

Looking forward to this. Derbyshire are bottom of the table and were poor when I watched them a few weeks back with the exception of Chappell who is a quality seamer.
