Don't know the exact numbers, but Viljoen's figures look very respectable at a fraction over two an over - yet Marty referenced the point that the majority of the byes were off his bowling, so 2 for 63 off 31 overs wasn't quite a true reflection.

Morning lads, are we going to get the job done??
 
Probably fair to say that today will define how our season pans out. A win with that team and we'll feel we can beat anyone. We found a proper player from nowhere in Steel last year and if Harte can perform similarly from now in, we're at least some way towards replacing Stoneman and Borthwick.

I like the positivity but these 2 will struggle to replace them like, top top players

Just reading into Salisbury innings, great effort that. Didn't realise was so many balls

Harte was quite happy to take a single off the first ball of the over and let Salisbury face the rest.
In their partnership of 99 not once did Harte decline an easy run to protect Salisbury.
Impressive batting.
 
We're in the box seat but it's not in the bag yet but I reckon I'll still be wondering what will go wrong right up to the last run is scored.

*I always knew we'd win.
*It was always a difficult ask after the first day, no way would we come back after that.

* Note to self: deploy whichever statement is appropriate at the end of the match as proof my predictions are always 100%!

Aye but its very early doors like. Both Borthwick and more so Stoneman took a long time to grow into their roles at durham

For me Harte has the makings of being better. Genuinely impressed by what I've seen, all round game looks to be very consistent and mature. Keep playing these younger/new players, they will get better, I'm certain of that.

The majority of the rest just need to use their heads a bit more, so erratic & inconsistent it's concerning.
