Cattermole has been a liability for many years. Fortunately for him, he has had better players alongside him covering for his woeful lack of pace and ability. He is now totally exposed and shown for what he is and has been which is a mid championship player at best.
Where are all those clubs I was told would come in for him? He has been at the centre on and off the field that has been everything wrong with the Club.
I was at the Derby game Rocky - no he wasn't very good even in that game but he threw himself into a few tackles, a couple of them late, so it kept the get stuck in neanderthals happy.

Build the team around him, they said. He is the one consistent, they said. Well, look what's happened - Sunderland fans get exactly what they deserve sometimes.

I think any love in for him has just about gone, I've stuck up for him for years but he's shown sweet fa this season, he's slow and clumsy and once he's booked may as well get took off, no problem in accepting I was wrong about him, even Rocky has said he looks finished recently.
 
I'll admit I thought he'd look decent at this level but other than the opening game he's offered nothing.

Unfortunately N'Dong offers not much more so by playing them both we get zero in the way of forward momentum or creativity.
 
It can hardly be a shock to people. Had the odd decent game in the PL majority of the time he was injured or garbage. Lauded like a club legend on here though cause people think he's geet hard.
