20yr old, 9 goals in 21 in La Liga in his breakthrough season. Has hold up play ability and can play across the front three as an inside forward.

An option for the summer? Or do we need experience more than potential now across the front 3?
 

Looks a handful, cant imagine a 6’4 centre forward is good out wide mind but could be wrong.

We desperatley need better options across the full front three, our wingers dont score anywhere near enough and as good as Brobbey is, I dont think he will ever be prolific (got more of a chance if the wings created more like)

We will need two wingers and a centre forward as a minimim over the summer, expecting Isidor and Traore to leave, wouldnt suprise me if Mayenda went too.

Our wingers and CF dont score because of the way we are set up..ie not to lose and concede and in past 5 or so games we aren’t much cop at that, however it is what has helped us stay up.
We cant keep stockpiling wingers in the hope things will magically come good
This lad has same sort of CV as Guiu and frankly he can’t score for Chelsea so what would he or this lad do for us right now

We've got 3 in Angulo, Talbi and Ta Bi. We might get one first choice for the right but can't see us going all out for a left sided player when we have two already, one of which has barely played (and played even less on the left) due to injury.
Could definitely see us going for a striker but we haven't really done that since KLD came in, he wants us going for all round forwards who play up front but also play out wide or as a high up number 10, Brobbey has been pretty much the only out and out striker we've brought in the last few years.

Ross Stewart was good at working the channels so maybe similar.

He’s got a hell of a lot better stats than Guiu tbh. The only similarities being they play in the same position and are Spanish….

But I do wonder if Mayenda were to play in La Liga would he do just as well? Feels like we have some assets in the team but maybe not suited to the system.

I like Talbi and feel he will make the left wing spot his own next season, but the right is like a gaping hole in the team and a striker who can be a bit of a poacher around the box during set pieces I think would fit us well.

I think both Mayenda & Isidor will leave.

Need someone who is ready to challenge Brobbey for the spot and offer more of a challenge than Isidor has done.

And the third striker being someone like this lad who is up and coming.

I think Brobbey could be prolific if he got better service and support. Only ones who try to get around him are Enzo and Talbi who rarely gets a game. The big lad is isolated with three defenders hanging off him.

Hope is Mayenda does leave it’s on loan as I believe there’s a great player in there just needs time.
 
If Angulo hadnt been fit I'd have liked to see Isidor tried wide left forward . It was the position he favoured when he came and in the forest debacle he actually got more goal mouth action than anyone . Can he be taught to defend too ? I dont know, but he'll do as much damage as anyone in that position on the books now..
 
Sometimes it’s all about partnerships as we saw with Quinn, Phillips, Clarke, Johnson and Gray down our left to centre in the 105 point promotion season. I’m convinced a similar setup down our right/centre of Brobbey, Le Fee, Amad and Mukiele would see us far more dangerous attacking wise.

Can't see us being arsed with either next season which is why I never mentioned them. Traore was looking good then got injured and I can't see us extending his contract. Mundle just needs to be binned off for similar reasons plus the fact he was awful when he did play.

Equally, wouldn’t be beyond belief that all three still are but we add one more.
Personally I think Isidor will probably leave and Mayenda will probably get a loan with us bringing in two, one CF type and one a bit more No 10 in style.

Also possible. Think Isidor will go and Mayenda away on loan. With Brobbey if it’s a good sized European club he may want to go.

I disagree with Mundle mind. Some young players initially have hamstring issues, that they put behind them. He is strong and direct, with time and confidence, I think the lad will be good.
