Carlisle United

Winning another two games in a row is a big ask, but as you say a few weeks back who'd have thought they'd still have the chance - I didn't. All coinciding with the fact Tranmere don't get a win in their two games.

Looking grim.
Missed a penalty today, hit the post and conceded an own goal.
Their keeper MOTM. Never really got going.

Carlisle have to rely on others now. Real pity because they are a big club at this level.
Going to be tough. Another few games like us could have made a difference.

Carlisle have been reliant on others to still be in the picture. They now need to win both remaining games & pray Tran lose both. MH has come up with something that suits the players on board but unfortunately it's come too late.

Swindon was an 88th min ogg loss wasn't it, looking at the bigger picture you're well safe & look like putting something together so stick today's game to the back of your mind. Plannning for next season's promotion assault should now be the main club agenda - with or without Morfuni being above.

Without Morfuni will feel like promotion.
Confident he will be gone.

Fingers crossed for that then, but hopefully you'll get both. Plus, whoever takes over will release some finance - but then no, money only brings criticism when it isn't used wisely (then managers/hcs get moaned at & binned when results don't match fan expectation).

Isn't the game great?

Oh no just saw your result, sorry mate

Not a good day for our respective football teams. Bright side no work tomorrow.

Missed a penalty first half that would have changed the game.
No excuses though Mate as not at our recent best. Disappointing for Sunderland but need to play the last 2 games with the team that is likely to start the play offs.
Unless you have a few niggling injuries of course.

Football is so unpredictable mate. Indeed no work is good news.

Off to Gillingham by train Saturday for a few beers and a no pressure game. Plenty of interesting stuff going on behind the scenes that most Swindon fans are unaware of.
Confident we will have new owners before the next season. Surely they can’t be as incompetent as this lot. Equally to remove all criminals and chancers will be a new beginning.

Hopefully we turn it on for the play-offs mate!! Obviously taking no chances, I suppose it gave everyone a run out. Like watching paint dry though.

Accy still not out of the woods, 6 points clear of Carlisle with 10 goals better GD.....however they have two very hard games left against promotion chasing Walsall and Chesterfield. If they lose those two games and Carlisle win theirs that 10 goal margin could disappear.....but i have to say that Carlisle really needed to beat AS today. They simply have to win their last two games and hope that Tranmere only get two draws at best from their two

I have to ask: Do you only attend aways for the beer journeys?

Sometimes I & a few others did when we went ;)

Only by train mate. 🤣

As soon as that whistle goes in the first play off game the season is erased.
All about a cup final then. You know those lads can play, all about turning up.
Those nerves !!!

Walsall have completely imploded.
Going to be a tough call now. As you said they really needed to win today.
