Carlisle United

11 changes to the team they play in the league????

Even May and Stansfield etc weren't on the bench.

Well done you gave Birminghams under 23s a game.

Note they beat Fulham under 21s 7-1 in the group game it was the full first team.

Check out their team and the players that played.
The lad upfront cost more than our entire squad. You could see the gulf in class but we gave them a decent game.
Yes we also didn’t put our our strongest 11 as tomorrow is a bigger game.

Birmingham have a strong squad and will back in the Championship next season.
Carlisle will surely put a run together, leaves Harrogate, Newport, Swindon and Tranmere in deep trouble if so. Definitely the worst relegation to suffer in the whole pyramid, so hard to come back up.

Other teams could get drawn in.
Not seen any outstanding team this season. Without doubt weaker than last season.
Teams at the bottom are picking up points.

Signed Paul Dummett, presumably on decent wages.

Misses what would have been his first game because he was involved in a car crash.

Then on debut, he pull his hamstring in the first 5 minutes and it’s a ‘severe’ one.

When the lucks against you.

Couldn't have happened to a better bloke.

An absolute wanker of the highest order and one of the worst of that lot who have a dig at us to curry favour with the Mags.

The same bloke who was on the losing side against us all 4 times he played against us in the league, but lapped up his sympathy 1 minute appearance against us in the cup last year.

Insignificant player who’s made too much money for being bang average at best.

Being a club ambassador on match days will be about his limit.

Barrow definitely not safe yet.
Hope Barrow also reach safety, still a bit if work to do for a few teams on the edge to be certain though.
Shows there’s quality getting stifled in the conference.
There's a good bit of quality at Conf level. It's a stepping stone for a lot of released younger players desperate to make the grade.

Nee time for Carlisle. Remember the battle when we played them in a friendly. Ganged up with the skunks down there Che.

When was that? I was at the one in 2006 and there was bother. No skunks involved iirc apart from maybe the odd Plastic Mag. The majority nicked afterwards and summoned to court had Sunderland addresses. Not having a dig at our fans but we had a lot of lads who came through for a good scrap that day. 👊

Absolute hell on every time in my experience which is 3 at their place including a night game and at least one at Roker all in the 80's and 90's. Massive mob of our lads at all of those games. If 2006 was a night game I was there.

Well I certainly want Swindon to win keeps that 10 point gap between second bottom Carlisle and Barrow. Barrow definitely not safe yet.

In fairness Barrow didn’t look a relegation side at Swindon.
Had a go and just poor in the final 3rd.

Don’t know why but I would take Barrow and Carlisle over South based teams as have a soft spot for them. Hartlepool though another level up. A few on this board know I am a secret Poolie.

We had an exit committee following us back to the station a few seasons back.
Little spotty faced kids that never crossed the road. They chucked a few stones at us and we just laughed and they turned off back down another road.

Aye that's what I'd expect these days. Football has moved on for the better though, as much as I enjoyed the past that's where it belongs.

First para: I suppose that's one of the reasons why teams are at that end. I also thought earlier in the season they had enough about them to stay out of it but when the season reaches this point shortcomings show in the table.

.......And you openly admit to being a Poolie  (albeit secretly) you've put your cards on the table now
