Used to love trumps I think it was called, like if hearts was trumps and you were dealt the ace, king and queen you are pretty much guaranteed to win 3 hands (I think you used to have to state how many hands you'd win etc).
It's a bit hazy though, last played it about 20 years ago.....

Looking back now three card brag was an evil game. You'd think nowt of playing with your best marras and seeing them skint on a payday. Most village clubs back then had a card school going on in the corner

Yes 3 card brag with various jokers or floaters was dangerous, Shoot was the most money i seen getting lost in the 90s.
