Arteta must win a trophy this season, to keep his job ?
If he does not, then the fans (if not the Board) will hound him out.
This is a trophy Arsenal can win (the Bookies make them favourites).
He will pick his best team over both the legs...
 
If arsenal end the season trophyless I think that puts massive pressure on Arteta. He will really want to win this competition IMO especially after the charity shield comment in his press conference. Obviously would have been better the tie being other way round. If I was a betting man I would say Liverpool will end up winning it regardless, but Arteta will definitely try and silence the doubters.

You have a point mind. I rarely look in threads involving anything to do with that lot but when I do it’s always the same usernames all over it. They know who they are, seemingly completely obsessed. No wonder that deluded ready to go account on Twitter (the absolute sad bastard you are if you’re reading) has a field day. Even if the skunks won it, so fuck. They’d celebrate a bit, post a few things on social media, and then it would die down and be like nowt had happened. Some need to grow a pair and focus on SAFC, god knows how they’d have managed if they were Everton fans given the success of Liverpool over the decades.

So what we have is Slot won a couple of domestic trophies in Holland.
Arteta has, in 5 years at one of Europes biggest clubs, won an FA Cup nothing else.
Ange has won a one horse race in Scotland.
Howe nothing.
Not the best of stats to have a bop at Howe.
