Cant watch...

I was watching it, but iplayer just decided it doesn’t like my VPN. Probably for the best
..

Works if I’m in the Midlands apparently.

Zero mention of us having a real go from 3-1 down or how amazingly unexpected our season has been. Anyway, that’s pundits for you stating the obvious but we’re going to have a nervous summer when the real football people start eyeing up our players

The 90 seconds or so from 3-1 to 3-3 is what you live for as a fan.

Shame a car crash was just around the corner but that’s football - the gods of football have given us some good moments this season so I guess today was just them taking some of it back from us.
Totally agree with that first sentence. Celebration for the third was mental even if it was to be followed by disappointment. I said after the game I preferred losing like that as opposed to going out with a whimper at 3-1

As sickening as it was to happen the way it did we've nicked plenty of points this season in the final minutes of games this season and tbh I'm surprised it's taken this long for it to happen as a newly promoted side. Coming towards the end of April and it's the first time I can recall us dropping points late?

Fulham away.

Already watched the highlights twice on you tube

Good game we we were much more open than normal for some reason but you know what but for a Martinez hand we could eb in 6th and dreamland

Shows the character of the players to have a go and we were very close to getting a point. I reckon that was Villa’s hardest game of the season, fair play.

Aye it was a good 30 seconds or so of mayhem.

I’ve been admiring my grazed calf this morning 🤣

Just watched it. Diarra just has to play in Talbi and it 3-4
Small margins.
Watched it back this morning and although I said exactly the same watching it live, watching it replayed I now don’t think the pass to Talbi was as logical as I did at the time.

When you watch it again I’m not convinced Talbi would even have been in Diarra’s peripheral vision until after he’s made his mind up to try and chip Martinez.

Still the wrong choice to dink it imo but it was a good save.

Just watched Phil Smith’s ‘On the whistle’ on YouTube and he says watching it live it never entered his mind that Diarra should have considered a pass.

All water under the bridge now. On to Friday night and hopefully bouncing back to claim three points.

I watched the highlights on iPlayer as soon as I got back from the match , well until it was 3-3
anyway
Villa deserved the 3 points they have a strong squad and we came within 2 seconds of beating them , no recrimination’s,no sulking , we are having a great season
If anything, it reaffirmed my belief that John McGinn would be a great addition to our team despite his age.
