Cancelling my gym membership with Sunderland Wellness

How do I go about it?

New gym has opened two minutes from my house so want to start up there, just need to cancel at Sunderland first.

When I cancelled mine I just sent a email to someone, the details are on the councils website

I've sent an email using the form on their website, wonder if anyone will get back to me in time...

Went in and cancelled it, then went and cancelled the direct debit.

Cancel your direct debit as your under no fixed contract. It is recommended also just to make one if the wellness centre's aware that you have done so. They will probably ask why but this is optional to yourself.
